MY FAB YEARS is written by Sylvia Anderson, co-creator of Thunderbirds and all the Supermarionation programmes throughout the 50s, 60s and beyond. A must have behind the scenes portrayal of what it was like as a young female University graduate (a rarity in those days) who went from tea girl to one of the most prolific film producers in the country, and is now deemed the ‘Godmother of Sci-fi’.
Her compelling first encounter with a small film company in the late fifties gets you hooked as she takes you on a journey throughout five decades of film making.
The story is big and bold, and contains Sylvia’s personal perspective, and her encounter with fame and the famous, fortune and the ultimate personal price she pays for her success.
A great one to have in your collection if you are a fan or follower of these iconic shows – and have a fascination with a good back story.
A great collectors item, MY FAB YEARS is available on Amazon in Hardback, Paperback or on Audio CD.
Up for grabs here is a copy of the book on AUDIO CD, read by the real Lady Penelope herself Sylvia Anderson
two winners will be selected.
