Wonderbirds is a brand new chat show launched by National Treasure Sherrie Hewson, alongside Television and Soap royalty Debbie Arnold, Harriet Thorpe and our very own Dee Anderson.
It was originally devised as four ‘birds’ having a chat over a cuppa which they shared with their fans and followers transmitted from their own homes on Zoom. But little did they realise that this chat show created for women in lockdown, would become a worldwide overnight sensation, with over 400k hits in the first six weeks.
Described by many as their ‘go to’ as a happy place within all of the doom and gloom, and a fabulous way of keeping in touch with others going through similar difficulties in turbulent times.
The show which is online Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4.30 is rapidly growing in stature with magnificent celebrity guests, such as Gok Wan, Gaby Roslin, Bob Barrett and Sally Dyvenor to name but a few. Plus a weekly half hour show with Richard Arnold on a Saturday morning at 10am.
The Wonderbirds panellists have been compared to the Land Girls during World War 2 when they reached out to the Nation in need and provided a light relief and genuine support to those in despair.
A spokesperson from the Wonderbirds Show told us ‘It is now evident that there is major audience out there who can benefit from this exciting new show, which is why it has been decided to take it beyond lockdown and become a household happening for everyone to share and join in. As well as the UK we have viewers from all over the Globe from the USA to the continent and even an audience in Japan and the Far East’.
A question and answer special will also be hosted every Sunday to respond to the the requests pouring in for information and tips and advice, ranging from makeup and beauty to fashion, food and spirituality.
‘Sometimes we are quite outrageous’ say the Wonderbirds, ‘but nothing the audience can’t handle as we talk about problems and issues everyone is facing in a lighthearted way and how to overcome them, and from the feedback we have been getting, it is all very welcome in these strange times.’
So as the audience grows every day, so does the banter and advice of the Wonderbirds ladies, who are delighted that from their initial concept Wonderbirds is already becoming an international phenomenom.

Darren Criss as Raymond Ainsley is a half Filipino aspiring film director determined to break boundaries in Hollywood against all the prejudice that faces him and his black actress girlfriend Laura Harrier who plays Camille Washington.
Against a backdrop of racism, chauvinism, homophobia and outrageous sexual harassment, the reality is blurred as Rock Hudson and Tallulah Bankhead appear as real life characters within the riveting storyline.
It is not by chance that the ultimate project that brings the cast together is a movie where the leading actress throws herself off the Hollywood sign as she had staked her life on becoming a movie star.
As well as being hugely entertaining, Hollywood exposes and examines years of sad ass dynamics, but portrays how the world of movies and entertainment could have been ‘if only’ the World had been in a different place.
Highly recommended and will not disappoint, you may even want to watch it twice!
Junior Tomlin: Flyer & Cover Art showcases the work of the mastermind behind some of the most iconic rave flyers and record covers from the 80s/90s and is a comprehensive insight into Junior’s incredible back catalogue.

Junior Tomlin’s visionary capabilities led to a long-running career as a flyer artist. His fantastical projections of the future and often surreal imagery earned him the title ‘The Salvador Dali of Rave’. Tomlin’s iconic work was highly sought after, with ravers collecting his remarkable work and promoters queuing up to commission him to produce imagery for their flyers.
Junior’s imagination conjured up alternate worlds, references to outer space and gave us a peek into the endless possibilities presented by an unknown future. It was the perfect representation of the brave new world being cultivated by rave promoters and the community that sprung up around the culture.
The Valentines Ball
Junior worked with a range of seminal rave promoters from 1989 onwards including Telepathy, Dreamscape, Slammin’ Vinyl, One Nation, Dream Odyssey and Ravealation. 30 years since he designed his first flyer, Junior Tomlin: Flyer & Cover Art documents his work across 180 pages, with commentary and draft sketches provided by Junior himself.

Divided into two distinct sections – Record Covers and Flyers – the book will also feature an in-depth interview with Junior and a foreword by Chelsea Louise Berlin (artist, flyer collector and author of Rave Art) plus words from members of the public, former clients and, of course, the rave community.

Chronicling the work of a pioneering artist whose art was intrinsic to early rave culture, Junior Tomlin: Flyer & Cover Art marks a critical time in British history. In a time where division and conflict seems to be more prevalent than ever, the book allows us to escape into Junior’s fantasy worlds and travel back in time to an era when social barriers were being broken down.
The book will be 25cm x 25cm, printed and bound on high quality 130gsm paper. It is the first time his work will be documented and presented in such a comprehensive, cohesive fashion.
