Want some light relief from the doom and gloom of recent events – a little retail therapy always does the trick.
You can of course make grab some brilliant bargains from the luxury of your own home.
The river island website have some fab Orange Gladiator Sandals at only £12 reduced from £30 and a gorgeous Black Leather lace tote handbag down from £40 to £20.

At www.boohoo.com grab this Boutique Asia Lace Side Cutwork Fitted Dress which is now a fab grab at only £8 reduced from £25 and a stunning Eloise 3 piece co-ord now £18 from £30.

If you are prepared to face the great outdoors sales terrain, then you would be well to heed an excellent tip, I picked up from the Lorraine Kelly Show today, and I have to agree with Lorraine is the best bit of shopping advice I have received all year.
To avoid endless queues for the changing room, just go wearing jeggings and a thin camisole, with a jumper thrown over if it is chilly outside, and then you can try items on the spot without fighting for a cubicle.
In finality then, if you are going to visit in person, have a look at the little red dress in Zara, now only £25.99 and the Miss Selfridge jumpsuit reduced down from £55 to £25.

Happy hunting everybody. I am feeling better already.

The holiday season is well and truly here, and if you haven’t quite achieved your beach babe aspirations, do not despair. There are some flattering swimsuits for you on offer this season, and now is the time to pick up a bargain in the mid season sales.
The website www.swimsuitsforall.com have a fantastic array of swimming costumes for the 14 plus figure, and let’s face it why not show off those curves if you have them. Gone are the days when we have to cover them up and feel we have to compete with the less endowed.
If you log onto www.figleaves.com/swimwear there are also some gorgeous swim suits with tummy control in vibrant colours to make you look and feel fabulous. There are also some sophisticated black ‘muscle’ suits which are glamorous and very sexy. You could even throw over a skirt or sarong which would look amazing around the pool.
Marks and Spencer are true to form and let’s face it – have got the history to prove their expertise in underwear and swimwear. We particularly love their red swimsuit which has secret panels to pHull you in.
But if that is too steep for your pocket, then grab a lovely piece at Sainsburys with their Tu range or George at Tesco, as these come in at around £16, and there are bargains galore at this time of the year.
So whatever your shape, flaunt it and make sure that you get the most alluring for your figure. You have nothing to hide, and we are lucky that the bikini is well and truly a thing of the past, and living at the bottom of most ladies’ wardrobes.
So if you are about to brave the great outdoor arena, take a long look at yourself in the mirror, affirm your beauty without and within and get yourself out there. After all we are all goddesses and now is the time to prove it.

A real diversity of styles and influences decked the catwalk at London Fashion Week – with some great ideas for us high street consumers (or commoners) to stay on trend with the shades and shapes of the season stretching as far as Autumn/Winter 2016.
Eye catching is the name of the game, and Olivia Palermo donned some exciting bold patterns in midi length dresses with loosly flung cardies.

Ok, we are starting at a leather trench coat which is not a snitch at £175 but is an investment if you like the classic cut, and will actually last you for several seasons (or years!). This gorgeous leather coat is on offer in Miss Selfridge and will look good over jeans or a pencil skirt.

If you want to go seventies you could go as far as a pair of Bell Bottoms in Zara at £39,99. Okay a bit over the top, but worth mentioning and think about it – this could be your big fashion moment to really shock your kids, or even your Mum who will remember wearing them back in the day. They are also rather flattering.
If you are shocked by the Bell Bottom idea, a more sensible suggestion would be a stripe trouser suit, influence Jasper Conran, you can pick up in River Island – the jacket is £60 and the trousers £38.
You don’t need to spend a fortune on shoes, and we have spotted some great buys at Miss KG for around £15.
Getting the idea? Well just a few suggestions, and I am sure with your own creativity you can elaborate and dress up any outfit with a seventies style skinny scarf from M and S at only £12.50 to complete the look.
