As we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month, we are also observing that the colour Pink is the colour of the season on the catwalk.
We are also proud to announce that ‘Penelope Pink’ is also an established palette with our original founder Sylvia Anderson having created the iconic character Lady Penelope. http://www.sylviaanderson.co.uk

Pink is considered to be lucky in a number of third world countries, and so as well as showcasing a number of pink items to be worn this Winter, we are also directing everyone to the Pink bus https://www.itv.com/lorraine/health/all-aboard-lorraines-boob-bus-this-breast-cancer-awareness-month that is on tour with the courtesy of Stagecoach, which has directions to check for early signs of Breast Cancer. Autumn is always my favourite time of the year as I feel we get to wear the colours and fabrics that feel good and suit our personality.
It may seem cliché, but as the leaves turn colour so do my love of autumnal shades, and they can be anything from holy hues to florid flame and it seems anything goes this season.
We see reds and pinks combined, bright yellows with shades of green, tartans are back and kimonos worn over jeans outdoors.
Here are some samples of what is hot on the high street.

Paloma Printed Kimono – Monsoon £80

Cord Shirt – pink – River Island £36

Oversized Mustard Boucle Coat – V by Very £80

Ferne Jersey Midi Dress – Boden £90

Vintage Tartan mid swing Dress 50s style – Rosegal £16.22

As we embrace the warmer climes our mission is to rediscover our own style in selecting a pair of sunglasses. They are both a statement and an essential part of our wardrobe as well as our wellbeing, and both should be seriously taken into consideration.
Sunglasses have completed many iconic outfits throughout the past decades from Audrey Hepburn to Jackie Kennedy/Onassis, and now is our chance to create our own identity, even if inspired by one of the legends of Society or the Silver Screen. There is nothing like a great pair of sunglasses to complete an outfit and give you that extra chic and confidence which is guaranteed to turn heads.
It is tempting to opt for a cheaper pair of sunglasses and there are many around on the High Street, and this could be a false economy as they can both fall apart and go out of fashion very quickly. So we are giving you a few options of sunglasses that will stand the test of time, both in quality and as classics in their own right.
